I did think that, but with SuSE 8.2 didn't have that problem, neither with 8.1, 8.0, 7.3, on the same machine!!!. IF I load runlevel 1 and then change to runlevel5 there is NO problem the problems start when Jan 15 22:27:39 linux kernel: raid5: resync finished. This happens!! Try running memtest86 overnight. Then get a printout and contact your dealer for new RAMs.
