I want to set up a alarm script that texts me everytime it discovers something strange. It would be perfect if i could mail it to a sms gateway or something similar which would send it to my mobile number.

NOTE: It's a german mobile.

Is there a way? Or would a 12345678@provider.de already work?

for T-mobile you can send an email to sms 12345678@t-mobile-sms.de,

At E-Plus I have an E-Mail-Account with free Notification of new Mails per SMS. You can use this as an usual E-Mail account, too (POP/SMTP), and read your E-Mails via WAP. This service is free when you've got a contract wih E-Plus. Works very well! Paul
