[opensuse-security] minor version number oddity with acroread update
Hi there, just installed acroread-7.0.9-2.1.i586.rpm for SUSE 10.0 few days back which updates acroread to version 7.0.9. Actually "acroread -version" confirms that. But, when starting acroread and looking at the about box it stills tells version 7.0.8... Is Adobe fixing bugs so hasty, they don´t have the time to change version numbers? This is expected.

They had no time to bump the version number for some components to avoid lenghty (week(s)) of delay for this critical update.
