Is something wrong with the list. I have all of a sudden gotten two copies of all the mails. especially the thread about logging, cybercrimeact and recursive shell scripts. I haven't posted to any of these threads and I am not listed in the recipients. Only the list but I have gotten two copies. I am alone with this problem?

We're investigating. I've faked some mails and sent them to some of the recipients on suse-security, but to no success so far. I've asked people to send me the orig as well as the dupe, with _all_ headers that you have. Some have done so, but the results have been inconclusive so far. But what we know is that somebody uses a Microsoft software that gets mail via pop and reroutes it via SMTP without making a difference btw header and envelope. The culprit is difficult to find since the dupes only happen when the said person polls their mail (the reason why the dupes come very late). I nuke everybody from the list (not without sending a notice about this) who has an address that sends back something like an (semi-) automatic response. This is frustrating since there are more sueful things to do right now.

Hi semat, I did not receive duplicate mails. Maybe it's a problem with your Mailserver. Regards Andreas
