Hi. This is very security relevant for me, explenations would be too long: I have a Suse 6.3 server that runs Vmware. Under Vmware a win32 OS is loaded and win32 apps will dial out with the external modem (no tcp/ip). I *have* to restrict these operations to a couple of phone numbers. What I was thinking about was a way to scan every dial command from the Linux side and when the phone number does not match the list of allowed numbers the connection would be refused. Probably there is a better way I did not think about. I contacted Vmware too with this question. TIA mike
