is there something similar to "/etc/hostname.<if>.[0..n]" to assign more than one IP-Address to the same (Ethernet-)Interface Although this is off-topic, I'd like to answer your question. Edit /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-eth0 and edit it to look like this: (keep the rest, and remove the existing IPADDR=..., NETMASK=... entries)
IPADDR_A='192.168.0.244' NETMASK_A='255.255.255.0' IPADDR_B='192.168.0.245' NETMASK_B='255.255.255.0' IPADDR_C='192.168.0.246' NETMASK_C='255.255.255.0' NETWORK='192.168.0.0' Markus -- __________________ /"\ Markus Gaugusch \ / ASCII Ribbon Campaign markus(at)gaugusch.at X Against HTML Mail / \

It is very easy ifconfig eth0:0 x.y.z.m broadcast e.r.t.y netmask 255.255.x.x (example) ifconfig eth0:1 another ip ifconfig eth0:2 another ip all that you want

Or, in case you do not want to live in the stone age any more :-)
ip address add 1.1.1.1/27 dev eth0
ip address add 2.2.2.2/29 dev eth0
You'll have to use
ip add show
to look what is configured.
Ciao
