Hello, I finally wanted to install some 'recent' patches for SuSE 6.1 (kernel 2.2.16 and kmulti-1.1.2). I didn't get far: a) no kmulti in the referenced directory: ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/update/6.1/kde1/kmulti-1.1.2-141.i386.rpm although in the index of the directory it is listed still. b) wrong md5 checksum for lx_suse.rpm: 41bde34659d93214af2cf5da6e7e2896 according to web site for ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/update/6.4/kernel-.2.16/lx_suse.rpm But I got: c8ecc307942b90e84c4e6058e3ade419 Can someone tell me where to get kmulti and what to make of the differing checksums? Cheers, Dorothea P.S.: Is this mailing-list the only place where one can make such mistakes known to SuSE? When I sent an email to info@suse.de it was treated as a request for installation support !?

may be it's the new 2.2.16 kernel, because the old one has had problems
But I got: c8ecc307942b90e84c4e6058e3ade419
Can someone tell me where to get kmulti and what to make of the differing checksums?
Cheers,
Dorothea
