Hello everyone, I am new to Linux so please stick with me. I have read all the examples on the firewall documents and cannot find an example that matches my setup.. I have 7.3 SuSE Linux with Firewall2 and I want to do the following.. My server has 2 x nic cards in it. eth0=10.0.0.5 eth1=111.222.333.444 which is my ISP assigned IP address What I want to do is allow 10.0.0.5 access to the internet and my internal network..FTP and WWW only (FTP is only for Updates from SuSE) so I am basically running a web server and that's all. My internal network also has a database server that I want to access with TOMCAT (apache) that is on 10.0.0.1 port 3470 All this is connected to the internet via ADSL = the gateway is 777.888.999.666 I have two questions - will FIREWALL2 protect me enough and can somebody advise me on what sections of the config file I need to complete. I can get the internal side going but cannot ping my router or get any external access. Thanks in advance.
