Hi everybody, did you read /usr/doc/packages/netcat and use the -v and -w <time_to_wait> option?!? If I use the folowing command on my SuSE 6.3 system

echo QUIT | netcat -v -w 5 HOSTNAME 480-514

I get the following output:

HOSTNAME [HOSTNAME-IP] 514 (shell) open HOSTNAME [HOSTNAME-IP] 513 (login) open
