However, I want to learn more about DNS and firewalling. I would like to run my own DNS for my website and also host my website. I have apache/mysql/php installed and the website is up and running. But I don't understand the DNS stuff that's required to make my machine a DNS server. Anyone know of a good document that clearly explains DNS and firewalling in SuSe? Hi Everyone, There is a couple of books from O´Reilly online. Okay they are the 1st edition but you can still use them. DNS & BIND for bind 8 & 4 Internet Firewall are just a couple of titles from this little library of 6 books http://library.cs.tuiasi.ro/networking/networking/index.htm Happy reading Ian
