Open SSH to SuSE 7.0
Dear All I'd like to use an SuSE 7.0 machine to connect to an Open BSD box with an encrypted session. I understand that I have to use SSH from the SuSE box to do that. However, the BSD box has Open SSH. I think there is a compatibility issue here ? Can anyone explain how I can connect the SuSE box to the Open BSD box with SSH ? Thank you -- Richard

huh? OpenBSD 2.6+ has OpenSSH on it, simply install OpenSSH on your SuSE system and all is well. However, OpenSSH does follow the SSH "standards" so if you already have ssh1 or ssh2 installed on your SuSE system you will should beable to connect to it. ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/OpenSSH/portable ^- for the newest 'portable' version of openssh. (this actually compileson linux and other non-openbsd systems. -miah
