I don't know what it is, but I can confirm this behaviour since the last update (running SuSE 9.1). The lines eventually terminate with Feb 12 14:40:53 mail squid[10566]: # ctx: suspiciously deep (1024) nesting: where the number between brackets doubles after each bundle of these messages (started with 32 right after restarting Squid). It seems to run normally, although the number of lines logged worries me a little. Regards, Arjen

I am running a 8.2 version so it is related to the update. Yes squid is running but writing too much info into the logs. -- Togan Muftuoglu | Unofficial SuSE FAQ Maintainer | Please reply to the list; http://susefaq.sf.net | Please don't put me in TO/CC. Nisi defectum, haud refiecendum
Hello. A new package that fixes the problem was submitted to our autobuild system. They will be available after testing. -- Bye, Thomas -- Thomas Biege <thomas@suse.de>, SUSE LINUX AG, Security Support & Auditing -- Imagine there's no countries, It isnt hard to do, Nothing to kill or die for, No religion too, ... -- John Lennon (Imagine Lyrics)
