First I hope I don't upset anybody with this question, but I think changing from sendmail to qmail is a security upgrade. I tried to install it by compiling the source code and when I wrote ./configure it said: Your hostname is earth. soft error Sorry coudn't find your host's canonical name in DNS. You will have to set up control/me yourself. After that I wrote ./config-fast earth.heaven (That's my full hostname) and ./config But I got the same answer. Here is my question: What is my mistake? DNS is a must.
