swat on SuSE7.3

Hello! I want to configure samba on my linux box (SuSE 7.3) using swat. I can login to localhost:901 with a normal user, but when I try to login with "root" user, I receive: ----- 401 Bad Authorization username or password incorrect ----- root/password that I use are 100% correct. How can I solve this problem? Razvan C.
