Trex firewall

Hi everyone, I want to build a firewall server and I found Trex firewall at http://www.opensourcefirewall.com. The questions are as follows. What are the pros and cons of it ? Are there any specific issuses I need to take care when compiling and/or installing I am planning to use custom compiled kernel from suse 2.2.16 sources ? Are any pointers for further info available ?
