Are there any issues with this kernel upgrade?
There shouldn't be.
On one machine (laptop) resume after a suspend-to-disk does not work anymore.
Not heard that one yet, no.
On another system grub does not display the boot menu anymore. Hmmpf!
The perl-Bootloader had a fix but it should have been installed before.

In my case (two mail servers) the machines could not reboot any more after installing that update. The menu.lst entry for the root device was cut after a "#". Maybe one script "thougth" it was a comment. Example: root=/dev/disk/by-id/scsi-SAreca_ARC-1210-VOL#000000000083264759-part3 became root=/dev/disk/by-id/scsi-SAreca_ARC-1210-VOL Easy to repair, but not good. BTW: Why there is no fallback entry in menu.lst for the last working kernel? I believe I asked for this feature a long time ago. It's that simple... And why not at least a copy of the last working menu.lst itself for reference?
