[opensuse-science] Bumping ROOT version from 5.34/38 (2018) to 6.20/04 (2020)
Hi, I like the fact that the OpenSuse Science repository exists. Lot's of tools that I otherwise would need to regularly recompile by hand. I was wondering whether this is still actively maintained and/or how to ask for bumping a version of a particular package? I am looking in particular for the v6 version of CERN's ROOT package (Tumbleweed) with most of its sub-modules enabled... Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance. Hi Ralph, I started packaging root 6 some years ago. But I don't have much time for it. The current state can be found in my private repo: https://build.opensuse.org/ package/show/home:Heinervdm:branches:science/root6 But as i see now, it doesn't build at the moment... Every help is welcome. Kind Regards, Thomas On Montag, 8. Juni 2020 21:29:41 CEST Steinhagen, Ralph Dr. wrote:
