[ANNOUNCE] Misc fixes and PCIACCESS support pushed.
Hi! Today a set of patches got pushed to the upstream radeonhd repository. They add: - PCIACCESS support. This allows the driver to be build against the latest X.Org sources from the master branch in GIT. - For R5xx we now only register the 3 supported HW DDC buses. - Some minor glitches in i2c handling were also fixed. Apart from this some code was restructured. This should not result in any user visible effects. Still testing the latest bits for regression would be appreciated. Cheers, Egbert. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org

first time I see no (EE) lines in Xorg.0.log. Problem is still no DDC. Chip is RS690. Xorg.0.log attached. Thanks! Marc -- "Artists and intellectuals support our cause." Lord Arthur Ponsonby, "Falsehood in Wartime: Propaganda Lies of the First World War", 1928

Looks good on my X1400 with Debian Sid. However, only the panel works, external LCD (connected via VGA) tells me "unsupported mode, h: 54.8kHz, v: 51.4 Hz" (this did not work with previous versions either, so no regression). I attach the log, so you maybe can tell me what is goin wrong. Regards Evgeni -- ^^^ | Evgeni -SargentD- Golov (sargentd@die-welt.net) d(O_o)b | GPG/PGP-Key-ID: 0xAC15B50C

Yes, external monitors and the internal panel cannot drive the same mode at the same time (usually). If you want to use only the external one, you can use the following: option "IgnoreConnector" "<name of your panel connector>" Luc Verhaegen. Hi Egbert,
Still testing the latest bits for regression would be appreciated.
No new problems here. I still have to add 256M to the framebuffer address, but that is to be expected. Thanks, Pete -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
