Hi there, I've got a Saphire HD 2850 with 256 MB Ram and I'm using radeonhd 1.2.5. I'm getting this message in Xorg.0.log: If - and only if - your card does not work or does not work optimally please contact radeonhd@opensuse.org to help rectify this. Use the subject: 0x9505:0x1002:0x2542: <name of board> and *please* describe the problems you are seeing in your message. My card does work, but 3D is very very slow and Compiz doesn't work. Please tell me if you need any more information. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org

3D acceleration is handled by Mesa, and support for r6xx/r7xx isn't released yet. Compiz requires actual hardware 3D acceleration. You'll have to be patient until useful 3D support is released, or run in-development code for drm, libdrm, and mesa. -- Yang Zhao http://yangman.ca -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
