when after a while (some hours) after I turned composite on the display crashes
I'm able to connect to the host, but radeon wants reboot ;-(...
do you knew the reason ?
It's kernel module issue, could be fixed in more recent version. Could you try 2.6.34-rcX? -- Rafał -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org

Hi Rafal, yup I did kernel (2.6.34-rc5) seems not want to get rebooted, but X-server stuck now on "DRMCPIdle: DRM CP IDLE returned BUSY!" after a few mins (not hours) and I need to reboot the system from cold up, reboot won't work (see syslog.out) seems drm can't initialize on warm reboot. -- mit freundlichem Gruss -- regards Thomas Drillich

I had the same problem on NetBSD; maybe it also applies here. See this message: http://mail-index.netbsd.org/tech-x11/2009/11/24/msg000685.html HTH, -- khorben -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
