This seems to be happening more often than it should: people mailing to this list because they hit this message: (II) RADEONHD(0): Card not in database: 0x9710:0x1462:0x7596; using generic modesetting. If - and only if - your card does not work or does not work optimally please contact radeonhd@opensuse.org to help rectify this. Use the subject: 0x9710:0x1462:0x7596: <name of board> and *please* describe the problems you are seeing in your message. ...and think there is a problem. Either they're not reading the message properly (I'm guessing that this is likely), or it might be a good idea to put some sort of note up on the radeonhd wiki, to clarify to people that the message can be safely ignored (at least, from my understanding of that message). At first glance, I guess it can look like an error message, even though people should probably know better (it would begin with (WW) and not (II) in the Xorg.0.log). Hope it's not annoying you though, Rafał. Jesse -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org

I would assume that if a person doesn't read the *immediately* following clarification that person wouldn't care about the wiki either :-( However, every little bit helps.
Hope it's not annoying you though, Rafał.
I hope that as well :-]
