Hello Egbert,
thanks for your support! I will get back at you with the two dumps once I have access to the box again. Could be 3 weeks from now (worst case) I'm afraid.
You did send a BIOS copy (which I have overseen). I just went back and looked at it: It contains a HDMI connector in the connector table (in fact it contains 2 which is also strange). I will enable the HDMI connector in the driver for people to try. This will be experimental though as we don't know if the output assingment in our code is correct, yet. Hello Egbert, that sounds strange indeed. The board has an onboard DVI connector. The HDMI port is not onboard, Asus ships an extension card (PCIE) with a HDMI port instead. It has dual VGA output support, though, one possibility is DVI & HDMI. Could this be a reason for the two HDMI connectors in the connector table? Here's some specs I found on the Asus website: Integrated ATI Radeon X1250-based graphics Supports HDMI Technology with HDCP compliant with max. resolution 1920 x 1080p Supports YPbPr component TV-out with max. resolutions 1280 x 720p and 1920 x 1080i Supports DVI-D with max. resolution 2560x1600 (@ 60Hz) Dual VGA output support: RGB & DVI/HDMI DVI & HDMI TV-out(YPbPr/AV/S) & DVI/HDMI (Simultaneous output for YPbPr, AV, S, and RGB is not supported) DVI Interface The interface of this motherboard supports dual VGA output both DVI-D and RGB and is HDCP compliant allowing playback of HD DVD, Blu-ray Disc. Accessories HDMI/AV/S/SPDIF module Regards Sebastian -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
