Hi, I tried the latest code and it's not working for my card: "ATI Technologies Inc M52 [Mobility Radeon X1300]" Based on rhd_conntest I modified rhd_id.c and I could get some screen detected but the image looks very weird. It only works when I have an external LCD attached to the VGA port, but the image I get is on the attached LCD. I'm attaching the conntest results and my patch. If you want I can provide the logs and a photo of the image I get. BTW. Can someone please fix the http access to the repo? Best regards. -- Felipe Contreras

Hrm, i'm seeing something here that i haven't seen before: DVI only:
Load Detection: RHD_OUTPUT_TMDSA HotPlug: RHD_HPD_0 DDC: RHD_DDC_1 RHD_DDC_2
Panel only:
Load Detection: RHD_OUTPUT_NONE HotPlug: RHD_HPD_NONE DDC: RHD_DDC_2
VGA only:
Checking connectors on 0x7149, 0x17AA, 0x2005 (@01:00:00): Load Detection: RHD_OUTPUT_DACA HotPlug: RHD_HPD_NONE DDC: RHD_DDC_0 RHD_DDC_2 RHD_DDC_3
Now... Panel is hooked to DDC2. VGA is hooked to DDC0, as DDC3 is a duplicate on some r5xxen. Now TMDSA is hooked to DDC1 (and hpd0) ... This points to the fact there are three seperate connectors. Is this a laptop with a seperate vga and dvi connector (maybe hdmi)? Luc Verhaegen. Yes, it's the dock that has the connectors. -- Felipe Contreras -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org

Interesting, this device now is the first to use 3 seperate connectors :) Hope that my code holds up... Thanks, Luc Verhaegen. SUSE/Novell X Driver Developer. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org

I tried the code you submitted (git of today), and it's not working properly. With the change I did the image was very bad, with the current code now I only get a black screen. If I don't have anything pluged in (VGA, DVI) then I can't start X. If I plug something then I can start X, but it's not working properly. Any ideas? -- Felipe Contreras -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org

Can you update to the latest git version and then give me a log of this run? It will not work either, but at least it should bail correctly. Thanks, Luc Verhaegen. Attached the logs with DVI connector and nothing.
The latest updates, probably of today finally made the driver work on my box. However, I see the same image on both displays. xrandr reports only one screen. How can I fix that? My external LCD has bigger resolution. Also then I try the VGA adapter I see a bad image on the external LCD and sometimes a blanking screen on the normal LCD, and after that it never recovers. There is no randr 1.2 support yet.
