Hi, I followed the instructions for an Ubuntu installation, as described here http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=843&num=1, but used it to install the radeonhd drivers on my Debian machine. Since I don't use sudo I removed "sudo" from the example commands after copy-pasting them. However, trying to restart X fails and I cannot even go into kdm, the login manager. My Debian/unstable was updated/safe-upgrade some minutes before installing the radeonhd, yesterday. I noted that X had just been updated. I have a Radeon HD 2900XT 512MB and Debian unstable x86-64, but is currently running with vesa drivers. I dual boot into Vista Ultimate using grub. Any tips on how to proceed? - -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
