We are bringing up the development machine for this right now ;) Luc Verhaegen. SUSE/Novell X Driver Developer. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org

Good to know, saw those at the CeBit fair and read up on its capabilities - on an Athlon 3500+ capable of decoding 1080p H.264, quite impressive for an integrated solution. Question is: will video acceleration including H.264 support be included? Dex -- -----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK----- Version: 3.12 GCS d--(+)@ s-:+ a- C++++ UL++ P+>++ L+++>++++ E-- W++ N o? Hi all, I have just put together a machine with this chipset (Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H motherboard) and would love to help get the radeonhd driver working on it. So far I've pulled the 1.2.0 source from git and built it OK on Ubuntu 7.10. lspci shows the device as: 01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Unknown device 9610 rhd_conntest similarly shows: Unknown device: 0x1002:0x9610 (01:05.00) I'm a competent C programmer and am happy to work on anything that might help move this effort along. Realistically I can spend an hour or two a day working on this, if that's of any use to anyone. As soon as 780 support is pushed (which will probably happen pretty
soon) you're more than welcome to help us with the code. There are quite
a number of things to be tackled still :-)
If you want to stick to a particular subsystem in order to improve it /
add support for it (in order to not clash with any development over
here), we can certainly help identifying the according bits.
