Hello all, I am not sure if you are aware of this problem; but wanted to let it be known. The problem occurs with mode-setting when an external VGA monitor is plugged in. Hardware is a mobility X1400 in an Dell Inspiron e1505. Brian Tate -------------------------------------------

Only a single mode can be set at this time. Modes for the panel and the external vga cannot be compatible. Therefor modevalidation bails out. Use: Option "IgnoreConnector" "<connector name>" in the device section, to specify which connector you do not want to see activated. In case of external vga, ignore the panel, dig the name of this connector out of your logfile. Luc Verhaegen.
