Hello, I took a better picture of the "fuzzy" stripes. I joint it here. Sincerely, savi.

If it helps any, this looks very similar to the problem I was experiencing when I first tried to get radeonhd working with my M690T-based notebook. I tried twiddling with the avivo, r300 (ati), and the vesa drivers to see if I could get it to work under any of those. I tried adding the PCI IDs to the r300 driver (of course, didn't work, but I didn't know where this card stood at the time). Anyhow, after trying to run X.org with those various drivers, attempting manual Monitor ModeLine in the xorg.conf, etc.... I started up X.org with the radeonhd driver once and it *just worked*, and has worked ever since. I am curious if there was some mode setup in the AVIVO driver, or in the VESA driver that kicked the card/panel init for me (but the driver later failed due to some other reason). I've tried figuring out what I was doing, but I a) don't want to render my display unusable again, and b) didn't take good notes the first time around. -- Coleman Kane -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
