0x7183:0x18BC:0x3000: GeCube Radeon x1550 (RV516, 256MB 64-bit DDR2 Ram)
I'm having trouble getting radeonhd to recognize that a monitor is plugged in. I suspect that the identification pin is not connected on the card's DVI socket (so it can never confirm the connection). I read somewhere that can happen and given the card is a rebranded, cheap knockoff, of a rebranded, cheap knockoff, it would surprise me very little. Is there a way to bypass monitor detection and force output to DVI/CRT/ S-video to activate? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org

Try Option "HPD" "swap" or "off"
See man radeonhd for the HPD option.
Also, you can specify per-output monitor sections and add an Option
"Enable" there.
Note that S-Video is not supported yet, and it's unlikely that it
ever will.
