X1400 on ThinkPad R60 only works via VGA-out

First of all, great job that you're doing on the radeonhd driver. It's great to have free drivers for ATI cards again. I have got a X1400 on a ThinkPad R60 and I'm using the latest git version of radeonhd. If I don't connect anything to VGA-out, X exits immediately. But If I do connect a monitor to VGA-out, the LCD becomes blank and I get the correct output on the monitor. conntest with no monitor attached: # ./rhd_conntest 1:0.0 Checking connectors on 0x7145, 0x17AA, 0x2006 (@01:00:00): Load Detection: RHD_OUTPUT_NONE HotPlug: RHD_HPD_NONE DDC: RHD_DDC_2 LVDS Info: 18bits, dual link, LDI Panel found. I tried again using today's git version. It still works only on a monitor connected via VGA and not on the laptop's display. Gabriel. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org

Gabriel.
Hrm, another one where the VGA connector doesn't return anything on DDC. Egbert is working on it, and he has some idea where to look. Once this issue is resolved, we need to go and try again.
