(semi) success on Radeon X1900GT
Hi there, I just installed the latest radeonhd from git, and it works, although only on my primary display. I have two LCD screens attached via DVI. lspci lists these 2: 06:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc R580 [Radeon X1900] 06:00.1 Display controller: ATI Technologies Inc R580 [Radeon X1900] so here's the output of conntest: beerockxs@awesome:~/xf86-video-radeonhd/utils/conntest$ sudo ./rhd_conntest 6:0:0 Checking connectors on 0x724B, 0x1002, 0x0B12 (@06:00:00): Load Detection: RHD_OUTPUT_TMDSA HotPlug: RHD_HPD_0 RHD_HPD_1 DDC: RHD_DDC_0 RHD_DDC_1 DDC Line[0]: Slaves: 6a a0 DDC Line[1]: Slaves: 6e 74 94 96 a0 beerockxs@awesome:~/xf86-video-radeonhd/utils/conntest$ sudo ./rhd_conntest 6:0:1 Unknown device: 0x1002:0x726B (06:00.01). I'm also experiencing some display corruption (buttons are scrambled in the gnome-panel and stuff like that), and the GUI in X is super slow. Attached you find xorg.0.log and my xorg.conf greetings, Sebastian

so here's the output of conntest:
LVTMA TMDS is not functional yet. Please use the VGA connector for the time being. Thanks, Luc Verhaegen. SUSE/Novell X Driver Developer. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
