HDMI support on 690G
Hello, I'm trying to get the projector Panasonic PT-AX200E to work on my Asus M2A-VM-HDMI board using a HDMI connection. I setup up a dual monitor configuration according to the example given in the wiki. The other monitor is connected to the board via DVI. So I want to use to digital outputs simultaneously. In theory this should work using this hardware. Result is that my DVI monitor works but the projector doesn't display a picture. I'm still thinking about misusing the possible_clones field for that, but that would restrict us to having only one cloned-only pair (two in some circumstances), and wouldn't allow us to use cloning in all situations where it actually would make sense.

I think this is pretty common. From what I remember the outputs share
things like sync signals.

I'm still thinking about misusing the possible_clones field for that, but that would restrict us to having only one cloned-only pair (two in
some circumstances), and wouldn't allow us to use cloning in all situations where it actually would make sense.
(WW) RADEONHD(0): RandR: While switching off DVI-D_1: output TMDS B is also used by DVI-D_2 - ignoring
This line in the log indicates this (hardware) configuration.

the outputs can be driven separately, it's just not supported yet in this case. Alex

Ok, there is some new information available:
Currently, the radeonhd driver thinks both connectors DFP2 and DFP3 (in
AtomBIOS speach) are connected to the output LVTMA - it seems that this
is not necessarily the case, but unless we know better there is little
we can do about this. It's currently under investigation, how this
mapping is actually done correctly.
You could help by testing, wether both outputs DVI-D and HDMI work
independently from each other (that is, both outputs work, if only one
of them is used at a time). Well, actually you only have to check one,
because the other is obviously working ;)
