Out of curiosity how similar is the x1250 to the x1300?
Not particularly. The x1250 is an IGP chip with the avivo display engine and the r4xx 3D engine. The x1300 is a discrete chip with the avivo display engine and the r5xx 3D engine. Alex

Feel free to work on whatever itch you want scratched. RS690 support is already pretty full featured. RS690 display registers http://www.x.org/docs/AMD/43372_rs690_rrg_3.00o.pdf 3D registers for r3xx hw (applicable to rs690) http://www.x.org/docs/AMD/R3xx_3D_Registers.pdf 3D registers and programming information for r5xx hw (very similar to rs690 and also applicable) http://www.x.org/docs/AMD/R5xx_Acceleration_v1.3.pdf Alex

Travis, how does the connectors on your external pigtail cable or your card look like? Is it something like pictured here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DMS59
Yes the DMS59 connects to the ati card and has two VGA outputs on the other end of the pigtail. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug. _______________________________________________ xorg-team mailing list xorg-team@lists.x.org http://lists.x.org/mailman/listinfo/xorg-team -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
