Hi, Is Xv is supported on RV620 cards (specifically the Mobility Radeon HD 3470 in a ThinkPad T400)?. I'm not able to play video with MPlayer unless I use the "x11" output driver, rather than the "xv" ouput driver (and the x11 output driver is very slow, so I don't want to have to use it). I'm running the latest Git revision of radeonhd. Thanks, Samir Unni -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org

Yes. You need the radeon drm module from a 2.6.30 or later kernel, explicitly enable DRI in xorg.conf, and also set AccelMethod to EXA. Like so: http://yangman.ca/xorg.conf Cheers, -- Yang Zhao http://yangman.ca -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org

Ah, these were the 2 things I was missing. Thanks for your help! Samir -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
