Scaler Support pushed.
I've just pushed the screen scaler support that has been sitting in a branch in my personal repository for a while now. It allows to scale the screen of laptop panels to sizes other than their native resolutions. This way the same content that's visible on an external screen is displayed on the laptop panel. This scaler is able to scale up and down, thus the panel output can be scaled to a lower or higher resolution. There are three scaling modes: none, center, scaling and scaling + keep aspect ratio. Use: Option "ScaleType" "<type>" where <type> := none | center | scale | scale_keep_aspect_ratio default is: scale_keep_aspect_ratio Please keep in mind that "scale_keep_aspect_ratio" will produce black bars on the left and right or on the top and bottom if the aspect ration of the panel differs from the external display. (Still I personally prefer this mode.) Cheers, Egbert. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
