Hi! I know it's been written before, but since quite a lot of time has passed I'd like to refresh the info from you guys. Is the TV-OUT support is still a sequential task slated after 3D is done, or will it be done in parallel to 3D? And if it has to wait until 3D is out - how much time will it have to take to do that support - are we talking long period of time or something that is trivial to do? I'm asking this to know, whether to plunge and deal with the upcoming fglrx again or wait until a driver I can compile and run without hours and hours of figuring out how to get the fglrx running on TV-OUT (currently I'm out of will to experiment again). I finally took this opportunity and created the radeonhd:TODO wiki
subpage. TV out support is listed there now as well. But nobody is
currently really doing any work on it.
For r6xx we probably do not have enough information. That said, nobody
verified yet.

Atom based tv-out is actually working pretty well in the radeon driver on r6xx. R5xx seems to be a bit more problematic. Alex -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org

AFAIR you couldn't change PAL/NTSC with AtomBIOS. I consider this a
must-have. Still, it would be a start, so far nobody did the port,
though.

Both are working on r6xx using atom. Alex -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org

Ok, didn't know that.
Then it's probably just a matter of porting.
