0x954F:0x1458:0x21AC: Gigabyte Radeon HD 4350 (GV-R435OC-512I)
Using the recent release i have tried to enable the audio output on my card using hdmi..when i set Option "Audio" to "on" in xorg.conf and run startx X will crash. if i set Option "Audio" to "off" x will start fine. The only other issue is that the VGA monitor can't be set to native resolution and is stuck at 1024x768. My hdtv which is connected via hdmi has the correct resolution and refresh rate 1920x1080@60. i have attached the crash log of X. Thanks for your time and keep up the great work.

That's... interesting. This assert should never ever fail. You might want to try to exchange this with with ASSERTF (xo, "Failing output: %s\n", rro->Name); so we find out which output is failing.
The only other issue is that the VGA monitor can't be set to native resolution and is stuck at 1024x768.
Would need a non-failing Xorg.0.log for analyzing that.

i don't understand what you would like me to do could you please elaborate? as for the VGA issue i am attaching a xorg log file generated without my hdtv connected. vga is connected to a hp vs17 monitor which has a native resolution of 1280x1024@60 NOTE: i use gentoo

The log file is fine. Unfortunately, I don't see why your monitor is not
detected.
Please post your xorg.conf (once more if you already posted it - I don't
remember at hand). The log file looks like the monitor is correctly
configured manually, but I have to validate.
Also run rhd_conntest with only the VGA monitor attached (you need to
supply the PCI Id - get it from lspci).
Then I can verify whether your connector table is broken or not.
