Linux Debian (xorg-server 2:1.4.2-10) kernel 2.6.26-1-686 I installed an HIS PCI Express Radeon 3450 card. Xorg.9.log said "unknown chipset (0x95c5)" and "RV620 on unidentified card" It loaded radeonhd, then it got a kernel panic. I added driver = "radeon" to xorg.conf . Then it loaded radeon and worked.
