I didn't either. But the line: BOGUS LENGTH in write keyboard desc, expected 6376, got 6380 at the end of the log file looks strange. Can you please run xev to see what event you are getting? Hm, just noticed that I have *exactly* the same issue here on my
machine, running a clean new 10.3 installation.
Can you check your "kbd" device section? I just notice that I have
"xfree86" in "XkbVariant", which is broken. Just nuke this line.

Hm. As I indicated, I don't know much about keyboard handling in X. I'm
happy myself if it works. I did some stuff for Compose handling (Compose
table caching), but nothing in the mapping area.
