Radeon hd 4850, radeonhd 1.2.5, DVI display connected to first dvi port (closest to mainboard), and dvi2vga adapter sits on second dvi port, and no displays connected to it. When I installed radeonhd 1.2.5 (used fglrx previously), booted os and got resolution - 1152x864 (My display native resolution - 1680x1050). those resolutions was available for choose in gnome's resolution change app: 1152x864 1024x768 800x600 640x480 xrandr showed me this ...
