I did this and I still get a blank screen, but according to the log file, Xorg is starting up with 1400x1050x60Hz: (II) RADEONHD(0): Setting up "1400x1050" (1400x1050@60.0Hz)
I logged in blindly and ran xdpyinfo from the console and verified that X is running at 1400x1050.
New Xorg log file attached.
If you like, I can also send the Xorg log file from when I run it with the vesa driver, where I do get working video. Maybe this can help you figure out which modes are actually supported. I don't think simply telling my panel to stop lying will be very effective :) _____ Dofri
Hrm, this is worrying. Need to go and continue testing on other mobilities first though, this might be related (but it might also be unrelated ... )
Thanks,

I might add that I do get working video on the Panel at 1280x1024 (My Panel is 1400x1050), but not at 1400x1050, 1024x768, 800x600, or 640x480. And changing between the vesa driver and radeonhd works fine without rebooting. _____ Dofri -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
