updating packages in numeric
Hi I'm stuck updating a few packages in dlp:numeric and was wondering, if someone knows how to fix these or perhaps better just wants to branch and fix them ;) a) pandas Some tests fail https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:apersaud:branches:devel:languag... b) numpy missing c++ compiler? https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:apersaud:branches:devel:languag... c) numba tbb version not combatible? Does this mean we just need to stay with an older version of numba? https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:apersaud:branches:devel:languag... Arun

"Part of Numpy is now written in C++. You will also need a C++ compiler that complies with the C++11 standard." I don't know what "now" is, but I guess you crossed that threshold with the version update you did. The only compiler I see in the spec is gcc-fortran, I would assume a BuildRequires: gcc-c++ would fix this. (C++11 has been supported since almost forever so probably no worries about that) HTH, -- Jason Craig

That did it. Thanks! Just submitted the package. Arun
