Hello, I was very unhappy with the discussions about further development of Python packaging when it was made only in FATE or in emails personally to the internal address. I am also aware that discussions on opensuse-factory and opensuse-packaging are getting a bit out of hands. I have asked therefore for the creation of new email list opensuse-python@opensuse.org where we could discuss further development of the Python packaging for openSUSE/SLE in open. I have sent this email to all people I think might be interested, but of course it is just up to you whether you actually want to sign up or not. You can subscribe to the following versions: - The normal version: Every time a post is sent to the list, subscribers receive a copy of it. Subscribe by emailing <opensuse-python+subscribe@opensuse.org>. - The no-mail version: Subscribers do not receive any posts to the list. This means, though, they are able to post to a list which only subscribers may post to, while they follow the list using a web archive or another subscribed email address.
