Proxy-Suite ldap auth not working
Hello, I have set up ftp-proxy on suse 9.1 server for ldap authentication. I enabled the AllowMagicUser to yes and UserAuthMagic to @auth, this is for outbound connections. After connecting to the server with ftp and entering the format with real users and host, ftpuser@authuser@host , login fails and the ftp-proxy.log gets: ftp-child [10476] <11/09-10:10:18> USER-INF connect from ftp-child [10476] <11/09-10:10:40> USER-ERR invalid magic in 'USER' from It seems it does not like the format , is this correct format or is it something further down the tree to authenticate with the ldap server. The UseMagicChar is set for @. The UserAuthMagic and AllowMagicUser seems to be right. I haven't set UseMagicChar, and it works for me. -- Gruß Dieter -- I do not get viruses because I do not use MS software. If you use Outlook then please do not put my email address in your address-book so that WHEN you get a virus it won't use my address in the From field.
