You have to set the LDAP* variables in the ftp-proxy.conf
to fit your directory service, for example:
LDAPBaseDN dc=your,dc=domain
LDAPBindDN cn=ftp-proxy,dc=your,dc=domain
LDAPBindPW a-bind-password
LDAPServer localhost
LDAPIdentifier cn
LDAPObjectClass FTPProxyUser
the search (scope SUBTREE) used here is:
ldapsearch -s sub -h localhost \
-w 'a-bind-password' \
-D 'cn=ftp-proxy,dc=your,dc=domain' \
-b 'dc=your,dc=domain' \
'(&(ObjectClass=FTPProxyUser)(cn=FTP-USERNAME))'
<FTP-USERNAME> is the login name of the ftp-user.
The fetched / found values overrides the values
from the config file. Used variables/attribs are:
ObjectClass FTPProxyUser
requires
ObjectClass,
cn
allows
cn,
DestinationPort,
DestinationAddress,
DestinationTransferMode,
DestinationMinPort,
DestinationMaxPort,
ActiveMinDataPort,
ActiveMaxDataPort,
PassiveMinDataPort,
PassiveMaxDataPort,
ValidCommands,
SameAddress,
TimeOut
Bye,
Marius.
