Hi, i'm trying to get a working transparent ftp-proxy using 1.9.2.4. I use the following setup: 1) Notebook with default gateway pointing to my linux box 2) linux box with suse-proxy-suite and iptables using port redirect from 21 to 2021 3) FTP-Virusscanner for security (requires user@site to work) 4) Internet :) The ftp-proxy is configured to listen on 2021 and perform transparent proxying. I have also added a destinationaddress pointing to my virusscanner. All connections should be relayed via the virusscanner. The linux box also does not have a default route as there is no need for it. When running the ftp-proxy in non transparent mode and logging on with user@host everything works fine and the virusscanner also gets involved. When I change to transparent proxying I get the following error: TECH-ERR: Srv-Ctrl: can't connect <<destination>> for <<source>> As soon as I add a default route the connection works, but the connection is established directly with the remote host, and the virusscanner is not included in the session. Did I miss something or does the combination transparent proxy and rerouting via the Virusscanner not work? thanks and regards Christoph ================================================ TI.KOM Tirol Kommunikation GmbH Eduard-Wallnöfer-Platz 2 A-6010 Innsbruck Neuer Markt 1/2 A-1010 Wien Ing.
