Hello, When i configure CuteFtp or wsftp or ... to connect using the ftp-proxy (using port 21), ftp client send success in connecting to the firewall, send the "USER ***" command, and then nothing: it simply lay like that...nothing happends... (The proxy is a NATed machine, is has an internal and external IP.....) So i tried a direct connect to the proxy, like if it were a ftp server: on the proxy machine (named proxy) i typed: proxy:/usr/local/proxy-suite/sbin# ftp proxy 21 Connected to proxy.** 220 proxy FTP server (Version 1.7 - 1999/10/22 09:22:47) ready. Name (proxy:root): anonymous 421 Service not available, remote server has closed connection Login failed. No control connection for command: Aucun fichier ou répertoire de ce type ftp> So, what must i do? Another question: is ftp-proxy is a ftp cache? where can i configure the cache path? Thanks a lot.
