could not retrieve remote file

Dear all, we are usinge proxy-suite on sun solaris 2.7 and 2.8 We have the problem that often (but not always) a download is aborted with the messages "could not retrieve remote file". The trace file does not say more than "Transfer aborted. data connection closed". Also in the debugging mode (option -v 4) I can't get more information. Does anybody know about such problems with proxy-suite? For solaris I had to build inet_aton.o for the common/libcommon.a Could there be a reason for my problems? Where can I get a stable inet_aton.o?
