Dear SuSE,
i configured our ftp-proxy to use nobody/nobody account, but i got:
ftp-proxy [16770] <07/21-11:46:44> TECH-ERR can't open pidfile '/var/run/ftp-proxy-transparent.pid'
It means ftp-proxy change the account first and try to create pid then? But i do not want my directory /var/run witch +w for nobody!
What can I do?
You can configure ftp-proxy to use /var/run/proxy-suite, then chown nobody /var/run/proxy-suite. Better, create another user and use that instead of nobody.
