Hi, Thanks for that. Actually, I downloaded version 2.7 from the leapftp site. Managed to get it to work by choosing Preferences/Proxy, host 192.168.1.1 port 21, selecting Socks firewall and no username/password on the preferences. On the site manager I set the site to a single space character and set the username to user%www.sitename.com and the password as appropriate. Seemed to work fine. Is there a more elegant way? Regards Andy

Hello,
Does anyone know of any good shareware/free windows ftp clients that can use the features available in suse ftp-proxy, specifically magic-characters, i.e. login with username%ftp.suse.com etc,.
TIA Andy
