I mean, you are using the proxy in a chroot, does you? You need a lot of libs in the chroot-dir (default may be /var/ftp-proxy/rundir) on a glibc System, like /lib/libnss_*, /lib/libresolv*, ... That what you see with "ldd /usr/sbin/ftp-proxy" is not enought!

but no problem with IP-addresses, for example:

I am working with Linux 6.3. There is no problem with nslookup and so on. I spent a lot of time
to solve this problem for my self but I could not find the solution.
